[S410] Anton Benz, German Relatives Of Carl Mayer From Dr. Anton Benz. The oldest daughter died after almost 3 years of a vicious diphteria. It's unclear from Harold Mueller's translation if the daughter died at age 3, or suffered from three years of diphteria, although the former is much more likely.
